A 24 year old San Francisco man bled to death after being attacked by a gray shark while surfing off of Troncones beach, west of Ixtapa. Though fatal shark attacks are considered rare, this is the 2nd fatality in less than one week. Dr. David Martin, 66, was killed by a great white shark while swimming off the shore of Solana Beach, Calif.
