This weekend, an event called The Rob Machado Surf Experience will take place at Seaside Reef. The event, an offshoot of the dormant Rob Machado Surf Classic, which was held at Cardiff Reef, is in many ways a homecoming for San Diego's most iconic surfer of the past two decades.
