Some Central Michigan Pre-Game Talk
As UK takes on the Chippewas of Central Michigan, I was looking at a couple of their blogs to see some smack talk going on. I did not find however any smack talk really going on, but I dd find this story that only gives Kentucky a 27-21 victory over them.

Central Michigan suspends two for at least season opener
I know, I know. We can barely contain our emotions, too. Which is why I try to write with great restraint that Central Michigan has suspended a pair of defensive players for at least the opening game of the year. A university press release states junior defensive back Lorenzo White will sit out CMU’s season…

First Glance: Central Michigan loses its grip on the MAC for good
An absurdly premature assessment of the 2011 Chippewas.
• Previously On…
There are two kinds of tough coaching jobs in college football: The ones that leave you gasping in an atmosphere of hopelessness, and the ones that erect pillars of false hope. When Dan Enos accepted the Central Michigan job last January, he was pretty clearly stepping into the latter, and not for...

One Last Game
The 2010 football season comes to a end on Friday for CMU, and while the year has been mostly a huge disappointment, the Chippewas last game against MAC West rival Toledo gives CMU a chance to end the year on a positive note. CMU is playing better the last few weeks, as they beat arch rival Western Michigan on senior day, and then lost by one at Navy 38-37, when they went for two...

Central Michigan Searching for Old Self
by Graham WatsonFiled under: Central MichiganCentral Michigan knew it might take a step back this season.
It lost its head coach, its all-everything quarterback Dan LeFevour, its top two receivers, its starting running back and it was breaking in a new coaching staff and a learning a slightly new system.
But no one could have predicted the fall from grace the defending Mid-American...

Paris Cotton had a career day in CMU’s 52-14 win over Eastern Michigan, running the ball 20 times for 196 yards and 3 scores, he also caught three balls for 37 yards. However, it could have been better, since Cotton also had two fumbles, though one was recovered by CMU, the one he lost was on the 3 yard line as he was about to score. Still Cotton had a great game and he was...

While it might not have been the prettiest football game, the Owls managed to win their second game of the season with a 13-10 overtime battle with Central Michigan.I think that my heart stopped three or four times in this game.If not for a forced fumble with under 30 seconds in regulation, there's no way in my opinion that we were going to win this game.
