Iowa Hawkeye basketball stats and where they rank nationally
Tweet
This season for the Iowa Hawkeye basketball team has been full of ups and downs that has proven that the program is still a work in progress.

The Hawkeyes had a chance to even their Big Ten record at 6-6 with a win but were not able to find ways to stop Northwestern’s sharp shooting. It wasn’t just their offense that Iowa had problems with but also Northwestern’s 1-3-1 zone confused...

Selfishness vs. Selflessness: The Gophers head to Iowa
Minnesota beat Illinois, in part, because of unselfish basketball. Players made the extra pass, looked to get their teammates involved, and did not settle for poor shots. A couple of weeks ago, the Gophers lost to Iowa because they made the extra pass, deferred to their teammates, and would only settle for the "perfect" shot. Unselfishness is good, to a point, and at that...

Tubby, this is your warning.
I try not be a reactionary perched on an imaginary bully pulpit screaming into the storm after the Gophers lose a basketball team. Big 10 Preview: #10 Iowa Hawkeyes
I'm probably higher on Iowa than most because I see some talent here, but it's hard to see how they can rise any higher than 10th, unless you have no faith in Indiana (but I do). Fran McCaffery had some scratching their heads when he left the mid-major mini-dynasty he created at Siena to take the Iowa job at a time when they were almost completely barren of talent or hope...

It Wasn’t Pretty But Iowa Defeats North Carolina A&T
TweetThe Iowa Hawkeyes won their second straight nonconference game last night against North Carolina A&T 95-79 but it was anything but pretty.

What People Are Saying About This Years Iowa Hawkeye Basketball Team
TweetFran McCaffery’s first season at Iowa provided hope and optimism to the Hawkeye fan base that he could resurrect the program after it was driven into the ground by Todd Lickliter.
