The Los Angeles Clippers failed in their first attempt this season to avenge their first-round playoff loss.
Their second try might not be successful if they can't shore up their defense.
Los Angeles looks to avoid losing a third straight game Thursday night when it visits the Memphis Grizzlies.

Paul George, at 23 years of age, declared that he was preparing to be the number one guy on the Pacers shortly after Indiana was dumped by the Miami Heat in game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals. It was a noble and commendable goal, but I was skeptical that George, as good as he was in the playoffs, could make that jump. My estimation for him this season was to take another moderate...

As of this posting the Los Angeles Clippers are 12-6, good enough to make them 1st place in the Pacific Division. You could attribute that success to a lot of things — constant lobbing, powder blue jerseys with sleeves, HGH, flopping, whatever — but you’d be wrong. They’re good because comedian Will Forte does something horrifyingly gross at Clippers games...
No. 3: Chris Paul
Chris Paul is one of the best point guards in the NBA, and runs the show in Lob City. He is a former New Orleans Hornet and Wake Forest Demon Deacon, and has been a fan favorite at every stop he’s made. While easy to get confused with his “twin brother” Cliff Paul, Chris isn’t quite as stylish but he’s just as good looking.

The Los Angeles Clippers are off to a 12-6 start this season, good enough for 1st place in the Pacific Division. For that success to continue, the team will need to fill a void at shooting guard. J.J. Redick missed Sunday's game against the Indiana Pacers and will be out until perhaps the beginning of February.Brad Turner, LA Times beat reporter for Clippers, tweeted about...

The Los Angeles Clippers are set to embark on the first of two seven-game road trips over the next two months, and they're clinging to an old cliche: one game at a time.

Clippers shooting guard J.J. Redick was informed Monday that he won’t need surgery for a broken right hand or for torn ligaments in the right side of his wrist, the team announced.
Redick saw Dr. Steve Shin, a hand specialist, Monday in Los Angeles.
Redick, who shoots with his right hand, still is expected to be out six to eight weeks while recovering from his injury.
According to ESPN Los Angeles, J.J. Redick of the Los Angeles Clippers will miss around 6 to 8 weeks. This is due to a fracture in the small bone of […]
After hitting the deck hard following an attempted rebound/put-back, Redick writhed in evident pain before getting up and attempting to exchange a handshake with DeMarcus Cousins, who'd knocked him to the ground. (Boogie didn't oblige, because, apparently, Boogie doesn't play that.) Redick stayed in the game and missed his next 3-point attempt before checking out with...
The word is out on the Los Angeles Clippers starting shooting guard J.J. Redick. He is expected to miss around 6-8 weeks of NBA action, and while that might spell bad news for Clips fans, the silver lining is that star point guard Chris Paul returned from his own injury to play in the loss […]The post Redick Injury Means It’s Time to Shine for Collison, Bullock appeared first...
The Los Angeles Clippers claimed before the season that ‘Lob City’ was dead and now a thing of the past. In an effort to focus more on defense, it’s understandable. But just given the athletes that this team has on its’ roster, it’s hard not to still get a quality alley-oop every now and then. […]

Injuries are apart of the game but two teams just hit a rough patch with two players out suffering a broken hand injury. First up, Clippers guard JJ Redick is out 6-8 weeks after a fracture in the small bone (pisiform) of his right hand and, a tear of his right ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) in the second quarter of the Clippers 104-98 win over Sacramento on Nov. 29.

LOS ANGELES Chris Paul has no interest in silver linings. A good loss is still a loss.
But with the Clippers embarking on a seven-game, 14-day trip that starts Wednesday in Atlanta, they should still look at the bright side.
They almost beat the red-hot Indiana Pacers on Sunday afternoon but lost 105-100, despite losing guard J.J. Redick for 6-8 weeks with a broken hand and playing...
Lance Stephenson is known as a hard nosed, solid NBA defender but his ankles were no match for Crawford’s silky smooth crossover tonight in the Staples Center.
Crawford dribbled the ball up the court, refused the ball screen and hit Lance with the straight okie-doke-double-behind-the-back-ankle-shattering move that sent the Pacers’s shooting guard...
Jamal Crawford is known for his slick ball handling skills and is considered to have one of the best crossovers in the NBA. Lance Stephenson found this out the hard way during the Indiana Pacers afternoon game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Although Stephenson would ultimately get the last laugh as his Pacers would defeat the Clippers, Crawford put a move on Stephenson that he...
