Stars lose 4-2 in a critical game against the Kings
Final
Dallas 2 - Los Angeles 4
Raise your hand if knew who Dwight King and Jordan Nolan were before yesterday's game. To be fair to Stars fans, I'm not entirely sure the Kings fanbase had any idea who these two kids were either. Dallas has a reason to know who these two guys are now that they both provided critical goals that were detrimental to the Stars season.
The fact...

NHL: Doughty's goal should not have counted
The NHL is investigating whether human error or a glitch in the clock system at Staples Center was responsible for prolonging the Kings game against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Wednesday long enough for Kings defenseman Drew Doughty to score the decisive goal in a 3-2 victory.
Colin Campbell, the leagues senior vice president of hockey operations, said Thursday he believes the...

Kings continue to lack team chemistry
An all too familiar frustrating feeling was back for Kings fans after a 2-1 overtime loss against the Islanders last night.
Jordan Nolan debuted in his first NHL game and was nothing short of impressive, even when the rest of the team wasn’t connecting. He showed a desire to win that other team members seem to be lacking lately.
But I don’t think the Kings’ issues...

The Jack Johnson Rumors
Darren Dreger of TSN answers some emails,I keep reading Jack Johnson’s name in trade rumours from various sites (probably guys who don’t really have any insight posting for conversation). Is there actually a chance L.A. would be shopping Johnson? Also, I’ve read St. Louis is seeking a Top 6 playmaker, any chance of them acquiring one?
What are your thoughts? ...

Kings struggle as trade deadline approaches
With the NHL trade deadline exactly three weeks away, it’s time for the Kings to figure out what’s working, what needs improvement, and what they’re willing to give to see the team’s numbers change.
I think it’s safe to say that Los Angeles needs a change, and a pretty drastic one at that. Right now they stand as the last place team in the league in...

See, five years ago I wasn't spending all my time writing for HockeyBuzz. I had free time. To get things done. To build my career. Now? It'...

Isles win a big one, slip past Kings 2-1
Hockey This Week In a game which had a playoff feel to it, the Islanders defeated the Kings in Overtime 2-1 on a break in goal by defenseman Mark Streit. The game was extremely chippy, (both teams had over 40 hits registered) and had plenty of after the whistle activity (most of it included Kings Captain Dustin Brown and Isles forward PA Parenteau). Kings Need Offensive Production

And when in the world is Simon Gagne coming back? Dustin Penner’s four goals, relativeley speaking, on this team would probably equate to 12 goals on any other halfway decent scoring...
