Federer Is The Most Dominant Athlete in Sports

Not Dwayne Wade, not LaDainian Tomlinson, not Tiger Woods. Roger Federer is the most dominant player in sports today. Just over the last two years, Federer has reached all but one Grand Slam final. In the last year, he went to the finals of every Grand Slam, and won them all with the exception of the French, where he lost to Nadal.

At age 25, he has won 10 grand slams, the youngest man to ever reach that point. In the Australian Open, he set another record by not dropping a single set the entire tournament.

Anyone care to disagree?

Woods is the only athlete who even comes close. Other than that, it's pure dominance for King Fed.

I would be inclined to agree. Federer's performance is nothing short of phenomenal.

we have to realize that different sports make it harder for one person to dominate. football is 12 on 12, offense and defense, basketball 5 on 5, soccer 9 on 9, baseball 1 vs. 8. Clearly, in tennis and golf the best person usually wins and can dominate by himself and control his own destiny

would federer achieve the same greatness if he played in the 90's?
