In the ongoing dialog which is the bizarre rise and fall of the Frenchmen, Simon once again crashed out of the early stages of a Tour event this week; German wild-card Daniel Brands being the benefactor. Should we cut Gilles a break here, or does the Nice native deserve all the stern fingers pointing in his direction? Well, being No. 7 in the world...
