  After comparing it with all the other tennis matches I haven't watched, this one is definitely up there. It even gets the "Kinda wished I sorta watched part of it" grade which I don't pass out too often.

  Great match, but I'd have to hold off on best ever. Agassi's old man U.S. Open run was some of the best tennis I've seen. Rafa made so many mental mistakes. If he was a bit more sharp, this would have been almost as lopsided as the French. Federer is that good though.

    Dude! Did you not see Federer spraying the ball all over the place? Talk abut mental mistakes. He was mishitting and hacking at shots that are usually routine for him. But maybe that's part of what happens when the pressure is on - for both of them.

  five sets of great tennis+
  the irony of Fed winning in 5 sets last year then losing in 5 this year+
  the grace of both competitors after the event+
  a stunned Jon McEnroe commentating and gushing=

  was the match which is supposed to be the greatest match ever FIXED. the amount of money which was involvedin brtting on this match suggest a new story on match fixing
