Seven-time Grand Slam winner Justine Henin has been granted a wild card entry for next year’s Australian Open, a clear indication that her comeback is seriously in order.
The 2004 Australian Open champion announced last month that she’s making a return to the women’s tour after spending more than a year in retirement. Her compatriot, Kim Clijsters, had a successful comeback this season, highlighted with a title win at the US Open last month.
