McEnroe Wins in Wild Windy Outback Series Final in Surprise AZ

John McEnroe defeated Todd Martin today to win the Cancer Treatment Centers of America Tennis Championships in Surprise AZ. This is the first final in four that John has won against Todd. "I thought this may have been the best I played all year and I think a lot of that had to do with the crowds," said McEnroe. "I was able to feed off of their energy all week. I think one of the keys was that I was able to shrug things off today. The older you get, it gets harder to do that but I really did a good job with that today." John suggested that the conditions were some of the windiest he had ever played in.
