Wimbledon Day 6 for youngsters

This years Wimbledon tournament has been filled with many surprises, especially on the ladies side. Both favourites - Sharapova and Ivanovic - are out and it looks like it could be another year where an unknown youngster makes her mark on the tennis world.

I don't get how you're using the term "youngsters" in your posts. There is a lot of activity in the Juniors, for sure, but I have a hard time calling any player on the main tour - even if they're not yet 20 y.o. - a "youngster." Worth noting though there are four Americans still alive in the Boys Singles competition, including Ryan Harrison.

Even though they are on the main tour i still consider them to be youngsters. Doesnt mean because you play with the big timers that you are not still a youngster.

Iv been watching the junior section with some interest and in the next few days ill be posting about them. Some real talent in this years tournament. Thanks for the heads up about Ryan Harrison. Ill check him out.

Dont you also think though that some of these players are peaking way too soon in their careers?
