World Number 6 Juan Martin Del Potro produced a devastating display to reach the final of the US Open.
The Argentine defeated world No. 3 Rafael Nadal, in straight sets, to advance from the last four. Del Potro won the first set 6-2, although Nadal did have chances to break the Spaniard's serve, but was not able to convert them.
The next two sets were just as one sided, as the Argentine raced to a 6-2 6-2 6-2 victory to seal a place in his first Grand Slam final.
Nadal appeared to be carrying a slight stomach injury but the form that Del Potro showed it would have been tough even for a full fit Rafa to win the match.
Del Potro took the tennis world by storm when he won four ATP titles in as many weeks. The Argentine has maintained that form in 2009, reaching the quarterfinals of the Australian Open and the semi's of the French Open.
If Del Potro can maintain this form against Federer then he has every chance of upsetting the Betting Odds and win his first Grand Slam title to...
