Novak Djokovic advanced to the Wimbledon semifinals for the fourth straight year, beating Tomas Berdych 7-6 (5), 6-4, 6-3 Wednesday.
The top-seeded Serb overcame a double break early in the second set to advance to Friday's semifinals, where he will play Juan Martin del Potro.
Djokovic won the Wimbledon title in 2011, but lost to eventual champion Roger Federer in last year's semifinals.
Del Potro overcame an early injury and beat David Ferrer 6-2, 6-4, 7-6 (5) after he reinjured his left knee on the fifth point of the match and called for a trainer to check it out. But he kept going and quickly took command against the fourth-seeded Ferrer, who was trying to reach the Wimbledon semifinals for the first time.
Del Potro beat Federer to win his only Grand Slam title at the 2009 U.S. Open.
