Guy Forget has called out the United States tennis team by saying they are weakened without Mardy Fish.
Forget’s France team and the US will be competing in the Davis Cup quarterfinal on Friday. Fish pulled out of the match because of fatigue and was replaced by Ryan Harrison.
Prior to the match, both teams were rocked by withdrawals from key players. Forget says “I think these last-minute withdrawals are more harmful for them than for us.”
Forget is without Gael Monfils, a former French Open semifinalist, due to a abdominal injury.
