Bleacher Report:
Rafael Nadal will have to play three days in a row if he is to win this year's US Open after rain interrupted his Quarter Final encounter with Fernando Gonzalez. Nadal saved two set points before winning the first set on a tiebreaker. The second set was also in a tiebreaker when the heavens opened, and the match will have to now be resumed later today. The winner of this match will play Juan Partin Del Potro in the Semi Finals after the Argentine saw off Marin Cilic of Croatia in four sets. Nadal took the tennis world by storm last year when he won Wimbledon, the Olympics, and reached No. 1 in the world for the first time in his career. The US Open is the only major to elude Nadal, but the Spaniard is doing everything in his power to put that right and to complete the career Grand Slam on Sunday in New York. If Nadal can maintain the form he has shown so far in New York then it would take a brave person to Bet against him winning the title on Sunday.
