Janko Tipsarevic beat Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic to give Serbia a 1-0 lead in the final of the Team World Cup on Saturday. The No. 8-ranked Tipsarevic snapped a three-match losing streak against the No. 7-ranked Berdych with the 7-5, 7-6 (8) victory in 1 hour and 57 minutes at the Rochus Club. Viktor Troicki could clinch Serbia's second title by beating Radek Stepanek in the second singles. The final will be decided in the doubles if Stepanek wins. Serbia is bidding for its first title since 2009, while the Czechs are aiming for their third, and the first since 1987.
