When Serena Williams was shockingly knocked out of the first round of the 2012 French Open tennis tournament she had hit a new low in her career. The 111th ranked player in the world eliminated the tennis phenom – the first time Serena had ever been knocked out in the first round of a Grand Slam tournament (and she has been playing in these tourneys since 1998)! Serena struggled through a tough couple of years with injuries and accidents, which culminated with the French Open loss. Serena could have easily called it quits on her career, but Williams’ sisters, like Chumbawumba, get knocked down and get up again. Yet, this time she got back on the bandwagon with a new love interest.
