FLUSHING MEADOWS, NY -  Andy Murray had to dig out of 3-6, 1-5 hole, while it was business as usual for Serena Williams as both reached the semifinals of the US Open on Wednesday.

Murray came back to defeat Marin Cilic 3-6, 7-6(4), 6-2, 6-0 winning the last 11 games of the match.

Serena Williams took less than an hour to dismiss 12th seeded Ana Ivanovic  6-1, 6-3 to move into her seventh US Open semifinal where she’ll face Sara Errani.

“I’m just happy to be in the semis,” Williams said in her on-court interview. “This is really cool.”

“I think I came out really strong….playing against someone like Ana, a former world number one, you really have to play amazing tennis.”

Mary Jo Fernandez Stares At Serena Williams’ Chest

Serena Williams is cruising through the US Open tournament and defeated Ana Ivanovic, 6-1 6-3, to advance to the semi-finals.  Williams was sporting a cleavage-filled low cut top that seemed to have caught the eye of ESPN analyst Mary Jo Fernandez. I put this video together to give you the full effect. I don’t blame Mary Jo, they are the same things I was staring at too!

Serena Williams easily reaches US Open final

Thanks to one more easy victory, Serena Williams is a match from her fourth U.S. Open title and 15th Grand Slam trophy overall. Williams wasted little time or energy while overwhelming 10th-seeded Sara Errani of Italy 6-1, 6-2 on Friday night to reach the final at Flushing Meadows. Not only has Williams won every set she's played over the last two weeks, she's dropped a...

Raonic to Murray: 'Don't be sorry'

Probably in a misguided attempt to boost his confidence, Milos Raonic suggested that it would be Olympic gold medalist Andy Murray who would have to change his game when they met on Arthur Ashe Stadium in the fourth round of the US Open. Raonic was correct in a way he had not envisaged. Murray changed his game so often, varying his shots, spins, placements and tactics to such a...

Murray’s Return Stifles Raonic’s Serve in Round of 16 Win

FLUSHING MEADOWS, NY – No. 3 seed Andy Murray muted Canadian Milos Raonic’s rocket of a serve with superb service returns to win 6-4, 6-4, 6-2 on Monday night at the US Open. Murray broke Raonic 4 times, but only faced one break point himself. “I used a lot of variation tonight. Milos has a huge game, massive serve. I had to guess on some of the serves,” Murray said. ...

US Open Semifinals Preview

Tomas Berdych vs Andy Murray: Of his two potential semifinal opponents, Murray has a losing record against one of them. It isn’t against #1 seed Roger Federer, who was upset in 4 sets by Tomas Berdych. No, Murray has a 2-4 career head-to-head record against Berdych. Berdych, when he is confident enough in himself, has the power to really just hit past Murray’s defense. Confidence...

Men's tennis semis to start hour early Saturday

Hoping to avoid a fifth consecutive Monday finish, the U.S. Open is moving the start of the men's semifinals to an hour earlier than usual. The tournament decided Friday that Saturday's play will begin at 11 a.m. EDT, instead of noon, because of rain in the forecast. 16 Year Old Broad Too Fat for Major Tennis

Oh, Hell Yeah that's a huge *****. Hey Taylor Townsend, stop your wah-wah about the US Open decision. They're just protecting the integrity of the boring game. Can't have a 100th seed huffing and puffing carbon dioxide all up in their stadium and on ESPN against a top 20 seed. No one wants to hear you grunt until you finish a 3 month strength and conditioning camp...
