Roger Federer advanced to his 21st career Grand Slam final after he defeated fourth seed Novak Djokovic of Serbia 7-6 7-5 7-5. The world number one produced some of his best shots which Djokovic could not find answers for. In order for the Swiss player to hoist his record 16th Slam trophy, he will need to defeat first-time Slam finalist Juan Martin Del Potro of Argentina. Del Potro ousted Rafael Nadal in straight sets 6-2, 6-2, 6-2.
