six months sounds like alot to me, but when you think about all of the lies she told on so many different occasions, and her teammate and competitiors who lost medals, I guess the time fits.

Sounds like a lot to me. When it comes to drugs, if they don't catch you in the act, selling, smoking, and/or sticking needles is ass cakes, you shouldn't get caught and go to jail years later.

I think Marion is a scapegoat just as Bonds is in baseball. Yes teh reason they get jail time is for lying to the feds, no problem there. But everyone knows there are many more athletes in Track and Field and baseball doing PED'S that havetn't had the same press as these two

The ironic thing is that she is one of the very few who ever came clean regarding PEDs. Also, though, she was busted for tax evasion or fraud or something, which is an entirely different story. Sad. I feel for her. She has lost so much. Six months seems a bit harsh to me. I think she has learned her lesson, and regardless she should be commended for eventually coming forward and accepting responsibility for her actions!
