Larry Brown Sports:
NBC has understandably been pounded for its tape-delayed coverage of the Olympics. The time difference between London and the U.S. has forced NBC to spare marquee events from live television coverage in favor of primetime coverage up to 12 hours after they took place, even though NBC and its family of networks is broadcasting all throughout the day when these events are already occurring. It’s such an impractical mess that even the peacock network has laughably jumped the gun on itself.

When the women's 100-meter hurdle heats get going Monday, expect to see plenty...
We are breezing through the 30th Olympiad – The London Olympics, The Summer Games, Ryan Seacrest Pretends He Likes Sports Month – whatever you want to call it, and by now most Americans at least know of American hurdler Lolo Jones. As a society we’ve done what we always do when presented with new, real-life characters – we categorize them in our minds for convenient access...
The Olympics and the IOC are kind of sketchy — Check out this guy paying a ‘review fee’ to the judges — Now call it what you want, but a review fee? Really?!? At least he used American cash. LOL. -TO
