Ironman Oregon?

The World Triathlon Corporation is looking to add a seventh stop on its North American Triathlon circuit. Rumors abound that Ironman Oregon might make Bend, Oregon its home sometime in the future. Other cities currently being considered include Forest Grove and the home of the 2008 US Olympic Track & Field trials, Eugene, OR.

The prospect of Ironman Oregon is sure to have long course racers vibrating out of their skin. What a beautiful place to travel to and to race at. The WTC can't go wrong with any of those locations.

Tracktown USA would be an awesome venue for Ironman. Then again, Bend rocks, too.
