Olympic Triathlete Jessica Harrison - Interview

Harrison is another example of an athlete who gains citizenship in another country to increase their chance of competing in the Olympic games. Harrison, from Great Britain, will be representing France at the summer games in Beijing.

I think you'll find she didn't just change nationalities on a whim. She's lived and worked in france for over 5 years, her partner is French and she races for a French domestic team. That added to the fact that the British team is seriously mismanaged and her decision was pretty easy.
