DALLAS FANS: Feel Free to STFU!

There has been a lot of Yardbarking Cowboy fans talking a whole lot of sh!t the last few days! I won't name (screen) names but they know who they are. I just have one question. Do ya'll have any popcorn left? lmao at all of ya'll!

The Brits Booed Our National Anthem!

No, I don't walk around in star-spangled boxers and yes, many things going on with this country deserve the harshest of criticism, but a bunch of low-class British drunkards loudly booing our anthem while on our soil is one of the most disrespectful displays I've ever witnessed. It was so blatant that a subsequent flag burning would not have been too surprising.

However, there was some consolation when "Pretty Boy" Floyd Mayweather caught the hyped up Ricky Hatton flush with a beautiful left hook that sent him head first into the corner post and then down on the canvas. Ricky Hatton got his ass whooped right here in the good old U.S. of A., and somehow that made everything alright. Unfortunately, most of the Brits in attendance were too shit-faced to notice. But nevertheless, that left hook was made in America!

Three Detained In Taylor Investigation

Hopefully they're getting close.

"The Miami Herald reported that investigators believe the three learned of Taylor's house through someone who unwittingly set up the burglary by bragging about his wealth. The newspaper reported their ages as being 17, 19 and 26."

D.C. Radio Station Reveals the Real Sean Taylor

The majority of Yard Bakers have shown class and sympathy with their heartfelt comments regarding Sean Taylor.... and unfortunately a few comments have been posted in an effort to dehumanize this young man.

Now, everyone can get a better understanding of what #21 was truly about. D.C. based SportsTalk 980 has posted Sean's audio clips on their website. Listen to him talk about his daughter, family, teammates, going fishing, not being scared of death, and how he doesn't like to hurt opponents. Also listen to Clinton Portis talk about losing his close friend. Photos are also posted.

Wilbon: Dying Young, Black (Taylor and Bias)

Washington Post columnist and ESPN personality Michael Wilbon isn't breaking any new ground with his latest editorial. He's basically stating the obvious. He does however summarize the similarities between the tragic deaths of Sean Taylor and Len Bias.

Breaking News: Washington Redskins Safety Sean Taylor Shot

"Pro Football Talk is reporting that Taylor is "fighting for his life." Taylor was at his home in Florida Sunday night. His home was burglarized and he was shot by an intruder."

Jones Jr. vs. Trinidad Jan. 19th: You buying it?

Both fighters USED to be nice.... may have to watch this at a sports bar.

Jones and Trinidad to fight in January

Sat Nov 10, 2007 7:29 PM EST

By Larry Fine

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Roy Jones Jr. and Felix "Tito" Trinidad, who have won 13 world titles between them, are to fight on January 19 at Madison Square Garden.

"We've been a long time talking, now it's a reality," five-times world champion Trinidad told a news conference on Saturday.

"It's going to be a great fight between two champions. Someone's going to get hurt and it's going to be Roy Jones."

Trinidad, 34, had a record of 42-2 before announcing his retirement in 2005. The Puerto Rican has stopped 35 opponents within the distance.

The 38-year-old Jones is an eight-times world champion from middleweight up to heavyweight. The American has a career mark of 51-4.

They will fight at a maximum of 77 kg, according to promoter Don King, who dressed up as Santa Claus to present the match he considers his gift to boxing fans.

"It should be a great fight between two explosive fighters and four powerful hands," Jones said. "I heard he's going to knock me out in two rounds, but he won't get past four."

Both fighters will turn one year older after January birthdays before the potential slugfest between two future Hall of Famers now well past their primes.

Trinidad last fought in May 2005 when he lost to American Ronald Wright by unanimous decision in a World Boxing Council middleweight title elimination bout.

Jones bounced back after losing a 12-round decision to Antonio Tarver in October 2005 by beating Prince Badi Ajamu last year. He defeated Anthony Hanshaw in a light-heavyweight match in July.

Jones has won titles in the middleweight, super middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions.

Trinidad has been world champion as a welterweight, junior middleweight and middleweight.
