So westbrook and Sheppard have shown up to camp on time!!!!! What a relief!! Just because they have showed up, definatly does not mean that this fiasco is over!!! But at least no hold-out!!!!

I am a little disapointed in these two guys right now! Is there a law that states that there always has to be some big issue with our Eagles EVERY year? I am starting to think so! From T.O to McNabb, to quarterback controversy to Andy Reids personal situation, and now to two of our stars being unhappy? I mean what gives?

Brian westbrook signed his contract in November of 2005 for a five yeard extension worth almost 25 million! I do understand that he has "outplayed" his contract, BUT Will he want a new contract evrey year? I belive he truly does deserve a "bonus" or tack on a lil more every year, but nothing to much per say. It musty suck see to see other players of your caliber making more money than you on a yearly basis, but players must remember at that same time that THEY are the ones who agreed to terms with the team for a certain amount of money per year! If they are that unhappy then they should take it out on their agent and not the team! When they signed they were happy, more than for most of them. With Westbrook it is a very sticky situation, because he does have leverage on the team. There is no doubt about it that he has carried this team for a few years, no doubt at all!!!!

I would be devastated to see this thing get to sour. We need Westbrook point blank!!!! Do I think the Eagles are cheap???YES Do i think Westbrook is asking to much????? YES Would I be upset if they cannot come to terms???? OH HELL YES!!!!!!! So I guess we will just have to see how this thing play out and I guess we will today!!!!

Now to the whole Lito thing. He's our Cowboy killer!!! But he just signed his contract in 2004.

I personally feel that ALL NFL players are way overpaid to begin with!! I think that they should damn near cut each teams salary cap in half, and put a maximum salary to each and every position!!! Because guess what these guys will still play!!!!! I mean lets say that for a certain position the max salary was 2 milliion a year, but the player wanted more or future players thought they deserved more? Guess what if you got a degree in college then you can pursue that and make what? Anywhere from 50k to 200k (if your lucky?) If you didn't then you can work some BS job and make anywhere from 12k to 45k. What do you think they are going to choose? I belive it will be the 2 million!!! Then if you are that good you can make your "extra" money through endorsements, and that my friend is your "payoff" for being a star!!!!

I am so tired of every day logging on to my computer and seeing somebody new "upset" about their contract, be it on the Eagles or any other team!! These players just need to be thankful that they are in the NFL and making the money that they are making. If any of them would have gotten hurt in college, it would take them years to make what they make in football in one year!!! They signed the contract and I belive it should be honored. That is the purpose of a contract, to lock somebody in. I do understand that this is a job (career, whatever) for them and this is the way that they put food on the table for them and their families. I am a owner of a business myself, I build decks, fences anything out side....If I build a deck for a customer that turned out better then expected would it be fair for me to ask them for money??? NO! Why? Becasuse we signed a contract and i must uphold that. You win some you lose some. Do I think Brian Westbrook is underpaid? OH YES he is

by far. If he wants to stay longer and sign an extension for money than do it, why give him more money for the remainder of his contract so he could possibly leave after it is up?? NO WAY.... Lock him in! When you sign a contract and sign your name to that piece of paper, you are signing away your career fo X number of years that is just the way it goes. Deal with it, your agent should have gotten you a better contract to start with, be mad at him not the FO!

Alright i guess I will be the on to step up and let you know a little something about yourself! You have not even been a member of the yard for two monthes and ever since you stepped in all you do is POST PICTURES OF WOMEN IN EVERY CATAGORY!!! Look I like looking at a hot woman just as much as the next person trust me I love women, but not on the yard! I mean what in the hell do these women have to do with football? Nothing, I mean we all understand that you are some low-life perv who has probably never seen a woman except for on the internet! My daughter is a die-hard Eagles fan and she used to come on here to see what was going on, and now because of you I no longer allow her to come on here. Would you like to explain to her why she can no longer visit the yard because you cannot score with the women??? Plus not only that, there are alot of women on here who post alot of good things and I am sure that they do not want to talk football and see half naked women, have some repect dude. You know there are websites out there where you can get your satisfaction without "tainting" the yard. Be for real here! Like i said I LOVE TO SEE HOT WOMEN but not on the yard! GET A LIFE DUDE AND STOP PACKIN YOUR PUD!!!!!!!!!!!

When will he learn? He alredady gave up his NFL career, What next?

There is nothing going on in the yard today so I figured i would post this. Any Bad news about T.O. is Good news to me!! Its not really all that big of a deal though, just some info.

Today in practice both Asante Samuel and DeSean Jackson suffered MILD hamstring injuries. With them being our two "biggest" additions to the Eagles, I hope this is not a preview of the season. Now for all of you people that are going to jump down my throat.....Let me start off by saying this this by far not a BIG deal! What I am trying to get at is the fact that one day this season this may become an issue. Will it hurt our gameplay? Probably not, we didn't have either one last year, and at the end we looked great! Will it hurt the fans spirit? It could. There really isn't much going on here in the yard, but this is a fact, not a rumor. So I figured that I would let all of my fellow eagles fans know what is going on with the two mof them. Lets say that this happens one Sunday, how much of an affect do you think this would have on our team.....IF ANY????? (besides the money part)

The first of June is here and we made no splash,

So after watching the game on the NFL Network week 10 Eagles vs. Redskins I am stoked! Yes we won this game but watching it definatly shows how much better the Eagles will be this season. We played that game well enough to win! This year is different, very different. First of all we had William James on James Thrash, who was burning James. That alone was two of their touchdowns. So take some points off of the final score! Jason Campbell threw for a "high" 3 touchdowns, let me tell you that won't happen this year. These are two small factors in that game. Let me hear your opinion on this game and what will be different this year...and what you think the outcome would have been with our "08 squad. Lets go BARK IT UP!!!!!!

With the meeting of Roger Goodell and Matt Walsh to day nothing really got solved....at all!!!! I think that Bill Bellacheck and the entire orginization were not punished as much as they should be. I mean come on they have been cheating for like eight years. I think the NFL should be more like the justice system, you should be punished for every time. That is like a bankrobber getting caught in the act, and the police doing an investigation and finding loads of bank tapes with him robbing the bank but only charging him with the one he got caught red-handed doing. This is just ridiculous. They suspend players for their conduct off of the field which has absolutly nothing to do with the game of football, or the play on the field. What the patiots did had everything to do with football and the play on the field!! So heres another analogy somebody gets caught with a bunch of drugs ready to use but in court they say " No we were not going to use them drugs, sure the blunt was rolled, sure the lines were cut. We were not going to use them .....we just happened to have them" The patriots knew they were doing something wrong, thats why they told Walsh to be careful and to hide it. I don't but that crap that they didn't quite understand the rules. but they understood them enough to know that if they got caught doing it something could go down. All I have to say to any Patriots fan is " If you really want to brag about how you won rings and games and all that make sure you know that it was by cheating" WE ALL KNOW

First of all I do not see a repeat of last year, not even close. The Eagles are coming in to the "09 season a healthier team for starters, we have added key players, and all the guys from last year have one more year under their belt as an eagle.

The Eagles have added some key players to their roster this year, by signing Asante Samuels, Chris Clemons, DeSean Jackson, and Lorenzo Booker. With the addition of Samuels that should definatly help our interception starved secondary out alot. As well as make them want to shine a little bit more. By adding Chris Clemmons we add speed on the line, He can definatly get to the QB, and if not make them throw the ball faster then they wanted to, therfore causing a bad pass, and its just a matter of who in the secondary wants to catch it!!! I don't think alot of people understand the significance of Clemmons.

With the signing of DeSean Jackson we have immediatly addressed the return game. No ifs ands or buts that this guy will come right in as a rookie and begin returning, as long as he can hold on to the rock! Now as a WR that is to be seen, the guy is fast, real fast! If he does come in as a WR he may not see a whole lot of passes, but he definatly will be a distraction to other secondaries, Now if he is open deep expect to see a long pass. When we signed Lorenzo Booker alot of people did not understand that this was big! He's young, fast and is capable of making big plays as well! This also gives B-west time to relax here and there and not take a beating all of the time. Now this also gives a the ability to run split backs. With that option alone we could set up dual screen plays , or designed trick plays around these two. The list is really endless as far as the scenerios go with those two!

So on offense just think about westbrook and booker in the back, with curtis, jackson, and brown lined up, that is alot of speed and playmakers on the field at one time, which will scare the crap out of defenses. " WHICH WAY DID HE GO GEORGE, WHICH WAY DID HE GO???? On top of everything i have said lets not forget that our man McNabb is coming in healthy, and so is L.J.!! I see us going at least 12-4 final predidction!!! Lets hear your feed back good or bad!!!

With the additions of our draft pick over the last two days alot of change has been made. We have made some changes that will make a difference in the outcome of games in this 08 season. For starters with the addition of Asante Samuels on the first day of free agency we have definatly beefed up our secondary in return should get us alot more interceptions. Now assuming Lito stays an Eagle this season, we have the best secondary hands down! When we added Chris Clemmons to the roster we definatly upgraded our pass rush, which will cause opposing Qbs to get rid of the ball quicker which our secondary will then do what they do best!! Now to the other side of the ball..

First and foremost with the draft of Desean Jackson that automaticly solves the return game problem, the guy is quick! I belive if he puts his all into practice we will see him on the field this year as a receiver as well as a returner. I will not go on forever but take these three additions to our roster add them to the existing players and a healthy McNabb, I don't forsee see a repeat of last year and see us regaining our spot in the league!
