Stephon Marbury - "There wouldn't be no negotiationa??..They're going to give me all my money"

I have an idea how about you give me all the money back I paid for your stupid jersey. Or how about you give us suffering Knick fans our money back on anything that says Marbury or "Star"bury on it. You owe us money Stephon because we all bought into the hype of Starbury coming home.........

Now it is more clear then ever based on these new quotes that Steph was in it for one thing and that was the money. Why else would you leave your boy Kevin Garnett stranded in the cold in Minnesota? FOR THE MONEY. However, you know what they say, "Karmas a b*tch" and look at how both promising young studs ended up. K.G. is a former MVP, Defensive Player of the Year and finally World Champion and Steph has turned into nothing but a disgraceful, greedy, wanna be Allen Iverson.

Knicks Getting Under The Cap

By now I'm sure everybody has heard all the hype surrounding the 2010 free agent class. The hype is not just media driven because certain teams are already dumping salaries to get under the cap by '10. For example, the Nets gift-wrapped Richard Jefferson to Milwaukee for Bobby Simmons and Yi Jianlian, talk about an unbalanced trade (watch out for the Bucks this year). It seems like the right move to wait and get under the cap by then and to possibly land LeBron, D-Wade or Chris Bosh. As a tortured fan I'm not ready to just pack in the next two years but I understand the logic.

The four players that are going to kill the Knicks chances to get under the cap for the '10-'11 season are Eddy Curry, Zach Randolph, Jared Jeffries and Jamal Crawford. Now lets take Crawford off this list because he's probably the only player on the team who can score consistently and is sorta worth the money. Crawford is going to give you around 20 ppg every night and the possibility to drop 40 or above every game.

Read on to see suggestions on how the Knicks can rid themselves of these contracts............

Get Rid Of Steph

Stephon Marbury needs to go no ifs ands or buts about it. When he was brought to the Knicks it was like "OH MY GOD WE HAVE STEPH!!!!" now we are saying the same thing but in a different way "OH MY GOD WE HAVE STEPH!!."

At this point if the Knicks don't pick up a veteran point guard I'd be more then happy with a point guard by committee. We are in a rebuilding phase and we aren't going to win anyway so what do the Knicks get out of starting Steph?

D'Antoni could rotate Nasty Nate, J-Crawford, and Mardy Collins at the point. Also people are saying that Gallinari could be a point forward in the mold of a Lamar Odom or the man who coined the position point forward Scottie Pippen. Only time will tell with Gallinari he is 19!!

So What Do The Knicks Do Now?

Ron-Ron would be great and so would Baron Davis. Realistically who are you going to trade to get them? As good as "Double" Lee is he is NOT great he is a great role player who fills a need on a good basketball team. Lee is not even close to the level that a Baron Davis or a Ron Artest are as players. Knick fans out there are getting a little ridiculous with these trade requests remember this is real life not NBA2k or NBA Live. You can not trade Marbury for Iverson because they are both rated on a video game in the 80s that doesn't work in the real NBA. How about this one I heard some crazed fan say Zach Randolph for Tyson Chandler? Or another one I heard on the radio was Eddy Curry for Marcus Camby. Haha, yeah right let's get real people.

The Knicks Pick the Italian Kid

Gallinari is a big question mark mainly because virtually nobody has seen him play in the United States which is why he was sort of booed at the Draft. Knick fans have nightmares about drafting Fred Wies over Ron Artest so can anybody really blame us fans for having some doubts?

Going on attributes, the problem I have with Gallinari is that he is a toothpick and will get thrown around in the NBA he is 6'8 210. I know it works for Tayshawn Prince but 6'8 210? He better be on a rigorous weight lifting schedule from now on. I hope this pick works out and Knick fans end up like Will Ferrell in the movie "Kicking and Screaming" yelling "PASS IT TO THE ITALIAN!!!"

NBA FINALS PREVIEW FROM A KNICK FANS PERSPECTIVE

The Lakers and the Celtics will re-new their rivalry in the NBA Finals and it is going to be a classic series flooded with story lines. Kobe Bryant vs Kevin Garnett, one is trying to win it all for the first time and the other is trying to win it all for the first time with out using "Diesel" fuel.

the Lakers have Lamar Odom the Jamaica, Queens native

the Celtics have the Big 3

What Drug Is Steph On?

Clearly after listening to that you can tell that Steph is on some kind of drug. There is no way any type of sober person can be that crazy. After they replayed it again the next day they wanted people to call up and discuss what type of drug Stephon Marbury is on. One caller said he was on Perks and a big fat blunt and I have to agree with that particular caller. I wanted to extend this discussion to the Father Knickerbocker faithful.....some memorable quotes from Stephon Marbury are on the page so click it to check them out....

With D'Antoni Aboard What Knick Players Are Now More Valuable?

The following players are more valuable now then they were before D'Anonti arrived IF D'Antoni uses the same up-tempo offensive style he installed in Phoenix.

Quentin Richardson, Nate Robinson, Jamal Crawford, David Lee and Renaldo Balkman......check the entire post out to see why.

Will Marbury Play For D'Antoni's Knicks?

Walsh said that his coach has a say in what goes on. In other words D'Antoni will have a big part in what player stays and what player goes.

First off Stephon Marbury was traded away a few games into D'Antoni's tenure with Phoenix. Secondly, when Marbury left his teammates out to dry it was coincidentally against D'Antoni's Suns. So Mike D'Antoni knows the type of player and person Stephon is and his mind is probably already made up. All signs point to D'Antoni not being fond of Stephon.

BREAKING NEWS>>>>>>Mike D'Antoni Knicks Coach

According to ESPN Mike D'Antoni has accepted the coaching position with the New York Knickerbockers. Lucky him? Well not exactly he inherits an organization in disarray. Although, with some draft lottery luck (which would hopefully equal PG D-Rose of Memphis) and D'Antoni's up-tempo offensive system the Knicks could land in the playoffs as early as next season. It is the (L)eastern Conference after all.

Mr. Walsh Meets With Avery

According to the people that know everything aka "a source" has told ESPN that Donnie Walsh has met with Avery Johnson. Mr. Walsh would be making the right move by hiring Johnson. While not from New York Avery has the loud mouth in your face attitude that all New Yorkers have and the Knicks desperately need.

Should The Knicks Hire Avery Johnson?

The answer is yes…..check that…..HELL YEAH!! So what if Cuban gave up on him after two 1st round exits in two years. It's not his fault Dirk is the softest "superstar" in the league.

Knicks Coaching Search More Complicated Then Expected

According to Howard Beck of the New York Times the New York Knicks are in no rush to hire their next head coach. They are reported as eyeing a few assistant coaches around the league that are still on active playoff teams. It is also reported that if some head coaches get fired after first round exits in the playoffs the Knicks would show great interest in them. So the list of possible coaching candidates has grown tremendously.
