Griffin lacks knockout power, has little technical skill, and is a mess to watch. He's the epitome of an overachiever but he's also very overrated. I wonder if the decision would have been unanimous had Griffin not been Dana White's golden boy, the original Ultimate Fighter champion, and most importantly UFC's puppet.

Tony Stewart, Dale Earnhardt Jr, Juan Pablo Montoya, the Busch brothers, Gordon, Jimmie…they're all racing tonight at Daytona in the NASCAR Coke 400. Watch it on a free live stream here:

I went through the list of '08 free agents and have noted those who are restricted and unrestricted. This isn't all of them, rather what I consider to be the cream of the crop and what Mullin should be spending 24 hours a day looking at in an effort to clean up the mess that Baron left

Because he missed 2 free throws? Sure that would have tied the game but he's not the goat by any stretch of the imagination. The refs are the true goats. It's not the nature of the the calls that they're making, it's the selective consistency that shows up time and time again. How come KG is called for a reach in foul when he's playing defense straight up and Kobe isn't called for anything when he does the YMCA reach around your back steal the ball play.

The question isn't rhetorical and the answer is simply, "Better to watch!" As the NBA Finals and Euro '08 are going on I find myself watching a lot more television than usual. However, this isn't limited to live sports as I've also been watching a lot of classics such as Lakers vs Celtics from the 1980's. Aside from the basketball being better,

I'm no Lance Ito but I do pretend to be a legal eagle once in a while. Much is ado about the Celtics slogan for the finals: "Gotta Beat LA." We all know it's lame (I'm not going to get into that) but I figure there has to be one or many reasons for this. While ESPN was laughing about the matter and Screaming A Smith was screaming about it, I was sitting at home knowing that it had to do something with money.

I've seen sports (MLB, NBA, NHL) all go through lockouts at times in which the sport was very popular. Every single time the leagues made changes and fans were asked to embrace the game again. It's not an overnight process but as each league is now a few years out of their last work stoppage I think it's safe to say that in all cases it was worth it in the long run.

We all remember The Jordan Rules. If you need a refresher course, check Google or continue reading and you'll probably figure it out. Back in the day, the Pistons reigned supreme in the East and the Jordan's Bulls couldn't beat them in the playoffs. Largely in part due to the defense implored by the Pistons in which they sent MJ to the floor

Last week, sports marketers gathered at AT&T Park in San Francisco to learn about the present state of online sports marketing and more importantly, what the future has in store. The event, the Sports Marketing 2.0 VIP Summit, was organized by the Sports Marketing 2.0 group which is headed by the Indianapolis Colts Executive Director

I think Belicheat deserves at least an 8 game suspension. If I was in charge I'd suspend him for the entire year and make an example of him. If you're going to suspend Pacman for a year and he's never been convicted of anything then how can't you suspend someone else who's guilty on multiple counts? As for Bob Kraft, ban him from the stadium on game day so he can't sit in the owners box and watch his team. It's no matter to him as he could watch the game on the biggest and baddest TV out there. However, during broadcasts I'm sure they'll always make it a point as to why Kraft isn't there and that public relations hit would be quite severe.

Things seem to be really going "south" for this entertaining sport as "off the field" antics are now quickly becoming the norm in such a credible league once dominated by the great play and team comradery. Such a blatant disregard for the ogranization and rules seems to have gotten the NFL into one big mess.

I can't even remember how many times we've sat around the Xbox while playing Madden and talked about how cool it'd be to play a "fantasy season" with Madden teams. Think about it, you could join a league in which default rosters are used and support your team (i.e. Chicago Bears) or you could do a fantasy draft in which you team is built to suit. The penultimate fantasy league is one in which your fantasy teams performance is not only determined by how they do on gameday but also how they do in Madden! I can't wait…
