George St Pierre visited BlackMat MMA a Non Profit MMA Gym located in the City of Whittier, Ca. BlackMat MMA teaches Mixed Martial Arts to "At Risk" teenagers in the community. Our mission is to help as many kids get off the Street and give them a positve place to train. It is ran out of a garage and has touched many, many kids. GSP, along with his manager Shari Spencer, and Scott Casber from Takedown Radio came by the garage and visited with the boys. GSP spoke to the kids about his past fights, his future fights and how he has handled adversity at a young age himself. His love for his parents, his love for life, and his passion for the sport was very imspiring for anyone weather you are interested in Mixed Martial Arts or not. After sharing with the team he showed a couple of moves, signed some pictures that Shari personally brought with her and took indivual pictures with each team member. GSP is truly a genuine and humbled person that anyone could look up to. It was a Miracle having him come over and we are truly Grateful!
