How would you feel if your bitter rival (to the end) showed up at your practice? Justin Boren, ex-Michigan player attended an Ohio State closed practice yesterday. Some of the Buckeye's are ok with it, if he's willing to make a life long committment to the scarlet and gray. This could really stir things up for the Greatest rivalry in college football..! On one hand he could be a positive influence on future recriuts for the Buckeye's, on the other hand, he could be feeding ammunition to the Wolverines already bitter taste for the Buckeye's.

Ok, I know what your thinking, it's way to early for this. Get out the calender and mark down your favorite up-coming games. There are some match-ups we've been waiting for, for a long time. The BIG TEN and the PAC TEN have stepped up their strength of schedules. If only some conference's from the (south) could follow! Top 40 non-conference games listed from Scouts inc.

I know this is early in his tenure, but the guy has yet to sign a QB and one of his only two returning Offensive lineman is packing bags and taking off. This isnt long after the starting QB, Ryan Mallett packed his bags and hit the road! You cant start the season without any players, and the rate this has been going, there's no telling who's next! I understand Rich has a completely different system than the University is used too, so trimming fat is a must, but isnt he a COACH? This is a big deal in college football, one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) rivalry in college football could be losing its luster!

Once a Hockey player always a Hockey player ayy??? Where is the officating crew, and why is this getting out of hand? In the report, there are claims of Patrick Roy himself encouraging his own son to approach another player! Dont get me wrong Patrick was one of the greatest goalies around, but actions such as these will only hurt his reputation. Who says Hockey is boring???

Former Ohio State wideout and current Indianapolis Colts slot receiver shows what it takes to make it in the NFL as a rookie. Gonzales has proven over the years (in college) he has a work ethic like none other! Learning the NFL's in's & out's isn't the easiest thing in the world, but Gonzales has showed in his rookie season it is an on-going process. Consistant improvement is his goal, and if you ask me, he's done nothing but shown constant improvement. Showing progress in the NFL, especially as a reciever for Payton Manning and his audibles (galore), can make or break an athlete! Lets just say Anthony Gonzales is on his way to "making" himself.

A young college kid with an eye for accuracy is educating professional soldiers on how to get more out of their weapons. Sam Ohlinger, a student at The Ohio State University has been shooting rifles since his father introduced him to them when he was only 14. Sam, since has fine tuned his skills and has become a legend in his own. Helping with the 3rd Ranger Battalion and 82nd Airborne Division. Ohlinger, a long-range specialty shooter, helping soldiers doubled their effectiveness in the field. As young as Sam is, he definitely gets the respect he deserves.

The Ohio State has done it again. Producing another fine young specimen. Vernon Gholston may not be your typical house hold name, yet! The NFL will soon feature this young monster on Sundays, and let me tell you, his name will be heard more and more as he fine tunes his skills paired with the best the NFL has to offer in coaching. This is nothing new to me, I've been watching this guy barrel over the best the NCAA had to offer. My personal favorite is the footage of "GUNSHIP" lined up across from Jake Long of Michigan. He just mows over Jake, knocking him on his backside for the TFL on Mr.Mike "my mouth is bigger than my" Hart. Yes, The Ohio State went on to win that one, just in case you were wondering. Just take a look at this footage from the combine and make up your own mind!!!

WOW...this doesn't look as overwhelming as the "media" hypes it up to be? Could this be a misconception? I mean, really! Look at the numbers, look closely at the skill positions. I'm not sold on this myth and why should you be?

Greg Oden's little brother Anthony is trying to make a name for himself! The Dunbar HS TE / DE is starting to get recognition from across the nation. At this point he has had an offical visit to Arkansas back in October, and I'm sure more visits will follow as the College Bowl Season comes to an end and players choose to leave for the NFL. Anthony Oden has yet to visit Ohio State, where his older brother attended school, but I'm sure Jim Tressel and Thad Matta are taking the necessary steps to assure an official visit.

The added week in the Big Ten will bring the regular season to 13 weeks. Normally the Big Ten teams have finished their season before Thanksgiving. A majority vote has finally given the Big Ten Conference a well deserved by-week. Most coaches have complained their players have been beat up during the consecutive 12 week schedules not giving them a chance to recover from injuries! There are a few coaches that still think the 12 consecutive week schedule was the way to go giving their players a chance to go home for the holiday. Big Ten officials have agreed to extend the season, although this change probably wont be in affect untill the 2011 season.

Have you ever wondered how much money a head coach of a major university makes in a season? There is some serious cash being handed down to those who may not really deserve it. Take a peak into their wallett and tell us what you think?

This could arguably be the nations #1 overall rated prospect at the QB position. Terrelle Pryor is turning heads from East Coast to West Coat. I cant wait until he announces his school..!

Torn apart all year for their loss in the "SHIP". Picked third overall in Big11Ten, in the pre-season polls for 2007. Let me remind you, this is our "re-building" year. It just doesn't get any better for Ohio States opponents for years to come, just take a look at what is shaping up to be "one of the best" classes The Ohio State University has seen in a long time. First things first, Tressel will have to prove himself in yet another match-up with the "superior SEC conference", for the Title. No matter what happens, let's not forget, this is supposed to be our "re-building" year. Even with back to back outstanding seasons, I believe the Buckeyes have even more to look forward to in the near future.

With all of the chit chat and speculation going on, it seems all of the Buckeye "bashing" has faded out. Is this a result of the "mess" on the front porch of the BCS? I think the media finally did some homework....! Might I add, Ohio State is the only team that "rightfully" deserves to play for the NAT'L Championship. Conference CHAMPIONS and only 1 loss. They call it the "back-in-championship"...can you HONESTLY tell me The Ohio State is "backing-in"...? I seem to remember a team last year that went the whole season without a single loss, won their Conference OUT RIGHT (just like this year) and basically did it again (with the exception of a single score loss). For the second year in a row it looks like the Buckeyes are going to play for the National Championship, and we're "backing-in"....? I understand some people might not like the Buckeyes, and think that they had their shot last year, but it's not Ohio State's fault that they're the most consistent BCS team these last couple of years. Who's going to be the next scapegoat of the BCS? I already feel bad for the fans of the next "bashing" victims.....!
