I can't believe Torre only kept Billingsley out there for 1/3 of an inning for his 2008 Debut and Lincecum got to stay out there and won the game. Now Billingsley has to wait for his next scheduled start to get his season going. So what he gave up a run, so what he gave up some hits, he was throwing strikes in the rain, give him a chance. They are expecting too much from the young pitcher. I think he should be able to start the next game against the padres.
