The Eagles lost a close game to a tough team on the Road...The loss stings but it is a very long season....The Eagles are going to have another game again the Redskins...The Eagles get the skins at home, hopefully they can get back on track...If they get past the Skins I see them going into the buy week 4-2.....The Redskins team has improved since their horrible loss against the Giants, they don't even look like the same team. The Jason Campbell is playing well and the Eagles are going to have to contain Chris Cooley...They have struggled against Tight Ends so far this season...They are also going to have the contain Santana Moss who is having a great season..They also have to worry about Clinton Portis who continues to be a beast...Some of the Redskins D Backs were injured in the second half against the Cowboys..Does anyone have any updates on that? At this point the Eagles have to be searching for consistency...The offense, defense, and special teams have looked great at times...But with the expection of the Rams game, the three units have shined at times, but they have not played a complete game, the offense struggled against Pittsburgh, the defense and special teams struggled against Dallas...The offense is going to get a huge boost from Shawn Andrews, Brian Westbrook, and Kevin Curtis..It's only speculation at this point if it will be this week, next week, or after the bye, but these three players are going the do great things for this offense..They are also missing LJ Smith, but at this point that doesn't really matter....Hopefully this week...The Eagles defense is causing the turnovers that they were missing last year, they also lead the league in sacks, but last night they struggled in the first half against the Bears, they turned up the heat on Kyle Orton in the second half but the offense was unable to cash in on the turnovers...but its over now lets forget about the Bears game and get pumped for a huge NFC East Battle against the Redskins.

Dear Dallas Fans and players, When was the last time you won a playoff game. Stop living in the past. The early 90's are the early 90's and last time I check it's not the early 90's. Please do not reply to this post with what happened in the 90's. Hard knocks almost had me convinced that you did win the Super bowl last year, I guess the camera men had you convinced to. I don't know what kind of drugs you are on but it was not you it was the Giants who won the Super bowl last year. Let me repeat that it was not you it was the Giants that won the super bowl last year. Tony Romo is not in the class of Donovan McNabb and he never will be. He is playing on a team with Terrell Owens and Jason Witten. If you can't win a playoff game throwing to them you should just sign up for the arena league. You will lose to the Eagles on Monday night and then you will start making excuses, after that you may come back and blow another team out the following week and continue thinking that you have already won the super bowl, but you haven't, you should start with a playoff game before you start talking Super bowl. Pacman doesn't all of a sudden make you Super bowl champions and neither does Zach Thomas, or Felix Jones, so what does, a fumbled snap on a field goal attempt in the playoffs or and interception in the end zone in the playoffs? I noticed that Dallas stopped using Romo as there holder, he was no Detmer, but I thought he was a pretty good holder am I missing something? If you wanted a real corner you should have tried to sign Asante Samuel and if you want a real Quarterback you better ask Aikman to come out of the booth,or try to Pry Garcia away from the Bucs, oh wait you wouldn't do that Garcia ruined your Christmas a few years back when the Eagles came to Dallas and Stomped all over you. Romo can't win when the pressure is on. Last time I checked Romo has many playoff wins to go before he catches up to McNabb and we all know that will never happen. Please don't bring up Aikman because he was obviously a great QB and a Super Bowl Champion and im not here to dispute that, those days are over, get over it. Dallas Fans want to put Romo on a level with Brady and Manning, he's the 3rd best Quarterback in the NFC east, well there you go Dallas fans at least he's better then Jason Campbell. Oh by the way I just got off the phone with the creator of the Simpson's and Mr. Burns character was created based on Jerry Jones. Well that won't help you win a playoff game either but nothing will so I thought I'd just throw it out there. Wait let me say it before you say it... Donovan McNabb threw up in the Super bowl... good one Dallas fans well that was the Super bowl somewhere that Tony Romo will never get, McNabb is a great QB and Romo never will be. One thing I have noticed about you Dallas fans are that you aren't very intelligent so I am going to write this slowly, and if you didn't understand any of the larger words that I have written above just read this last sentence and you will understand what I am trying to say... Tony Romo has as many playoffs wins as me,yeah that is right me, the guy who is writing this article. They have stole the patriots just like the patriots stole the eagles plays signing randy moss and asante samuel to 5 year contracts for the veterans minimum... they then proceeded to trade jevon kearse for larry fitzgerald straight up..fitz took restructed his contract to 1.5 million per year.... and stole juluis peppers from the panthers for a 6th round draft pick! What idiots the panthers are! Javon Walker was cut by the broncos and the eagles picked him up immediatley! wait wait wait the day is not over... the ravens are itching for a real Dend so the eagles packaged darren howard and reno mahe for ed reed and suggs! We also picked up Alge Crumpler but we dont have to pay him he wants to play for free! SuperBowl here we come!....Come on eagles fans get real...I love the eagles just as much as the rest of you but stop these stupid rumors.... The only two sources for any of these rumors are Gary Cobb reporting the eagles are intrested in larry fitz but its going to be very hard because of his contract..... this would be great but wait till there are real talks and real sources... before you start posting this reggie brown and kearse and a draft pick shit... Everyone says the Eagles need to add another playmaker on offense. I believe the Eagles priorities should be adding another big time (1)defensive end to put opposite Trent Cole, (2) Adding a Saftey and or corner that will be able have an impact right away. The draft is loaded with 1st round corners this year. (3)Playmaker on offense and special teams. In the Devon Hester world of football the Eagles must have a return man. Brian Westbrook almost saved them during the Seattle game but you cannot ask him to do everything. They need to dig deep in the draft and get a return man. Eddie Royal had an outstanding career at Virgina Tech and I believe he could be the Return man the eagles need. I also think he could turn into a playmaking wide reciever. Here is my thoughts on adding a playmaker on offense. I have looked all over the web at reliable sources such as prosportsdaily.com as well as GCobb.com and there seems to be no truth to the rumor that the eagles are attempting to work out a trade for Detriot Wide reciever Roy Williams. Williams is a very big reciever that would provide an instant redzone threat to the Eagles offense. The season in which the eagles made a move to get Terrell Owens, he was the cream of the crop. This year if the eagles are willing to make a move there are large number of playmaking wide recievers that may be available via free agency or trade. There are rumors that Roy Williams, Chad Johnson, and Larry Fitzgerald are all unhappy with their current situations. Fitzgerald went to Howard Eskins show from the Superbowl and said if he was traded he would be happy to be an Eagle. Free agency offers Donte Stallworth who would almost certainly test the market after having to take a backseat to Randy Moss and Wes Welker this season. I would love to see him back in an Eagles Uniform. Bernard Berrian is a young reciever who has big play potential and has put up good numbers with very shaky quarterback play. I would also love to see him in an Eagles Uniform. I am assuming that Randy Moss is going to resign with the Patriots but at what price? If they put the franchise tag on Moss they will have a pay him a large salary. If not, will Moss, at his age test free agnecy and see if he can get one more big contract? Dallas Clark is also a free agent but I do not see a good organization like the Colts letting Clark walk. After the superbowl there are rumors spreading that the Gaints and Jeremy Shockey are not on the same page. Shockey was not seen around the Gaints facility much after breaking his leg. Gaints TE Kevin Boss had a good playoff and came up with a 45 yard reception in the superbowl. Would Andy Reid take a shot at a personaility such as Shockey if he could get him at a cheap price? Bottom line is the Gaints just won the superbowl. I am not taking anything away from the Gaints they are the best team in the NFL. But come of people it was the Gaints pass rush that was able to hit Tom Brady like hes never been hit before and thats what won them the Superbowl. (Sorry Eli you did make some great plays) The management needs to attack this year in the draft and free agency and make another run at the Superbowl. You saw what Osi,Strahan, and Tuck did in the superbowl. It is yet to see what Abiamiri can do and Thomas is a solid end. The Eagles Defense is young and promising and the offense needs another treat. Brian Westbrook is a star in the prime of his career and strikes fear into opposing defenses. Mcnabb still play at a very high level if you give him a reciever. So this is my cry to Eagles management please go get Jared Allen to kill quarterbacks with Trent Cole. Go get Any of the recievers and Te's listed above and have defenses scratching there head about how to account for the eagles recievers while still having to worry around where Westbrook is at all times. Go get a big time corner and saftey in the draft. Draft Eddie Royal and put this offense in good field position when we get the ball. I love you Reno Mahe but just catching the ball doesnt cut it anymore(Althought you would have been great for the Green Bay game.) Come on management get it done! Let this team have another shot at the Superbowl.
