Barcelona has some big spots to fill with one of the best players in the world leaving for AC Milan. Is this transfer going to affect Brazil's National Team like it did with Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal??

I have witnessed too many years of frustration, pain and sadness from NL teams and their fans. For the past 10 YEARS the AL has won the all star game and has won 11 of the past 16 world series. That's just not right. I think it all comes down to the payrolls and maybe bad luck. The AL has two of the top three highest payroll teams from the Yankees and Red Sox. NL team have made the dumbest moves recently and it hurts me to see that happening. Because of all of this I really want to see the Cubies win it all this year and start a new era.

Cy Young's 511 Career wins. Cal Ripken's 2,632 conescutive games. Joe DiMaggio's 56-game hitting streak. Major League Baseball's recordbook is coveted with so many records and feats that are unreal. There are so many records that baseball players today and in the future will never challenge. Records in baseball make players become legends.
Of all the amazing recrords and feats written in the recordbook, the one record that in my mind will never be broken is Cal Ripken's 2,632 consecutive games. That number symbolizes love for the game. It didnt matter to him if he was injured or was sick, he was going to play. If he could do one of hitting, throwing, catching, seeing, or running, Cal Ripken was goiong to play. You have to be able to dodge so many high probablities of getting injured. Along with that you had to be in great shape to play the game for 16 years without taking a day off.
Now I am not saying that that is not the only unbreakable record. Nolan Ryan's 5, 714 strikeouts, Rikey Henderson's 1,406 stolen bases, Cy Young's 511 wins and Bob Gibson's 1.12 ERA season is unbreakable. I think that one day Joe DiMaggio's hitting streak will be broken. Players have been close, but the media has made it harder.
What do you all think is the most unbreakable baseball record and which record do you think has a chance of being broken?

Major League Lacrosse has been trying to get lacrosse at the professional level across the nation for everyone to watch and become a fan of the game. Currently with ten teams (six Eastern, four Western), the league wants the sport to spread everywhere so that every kid has a chance in getting interested in playing the game and having fun. The league is focused on adding cities in the west to balance out the number of teams between the conferences. Cities such as Portland, San Diego, Seattle, St. Louis, Cincinnati and Salt Lake City are in process of building a stadium for the franchise to play in.
I have ideas of more places to build a franchise in the United States. If we get the expansion teams, then there would be nine teams in the West and seven in the East (16 total). The league would have to find two more teams in the east to balance out the teams again. I think the best places are Raleigh, North Carolina and Detroit or somewhere else in Michigan. Lacrosse is huge or is getting huge in these two places.
MLL should also try to change the rule book and make it as similar as possible as the college rulebook.

When the Milwaukee Brewers acquired CC Sabathia in a 5-player trade with the Cleveland Indians, they were a team that would challenge the Cubs and Cardinals for the NL Central division crown. That is what everyone was visioning until the Cubs came back with an answer. Rich Harden, the ace from Oakland A's, was traded to the Cubs in a 6-Player deal. The Chicago Cubs may still have the advantage over the Brewers and Cardinals. With the addition these aces, the Brewers and Cubs are clearly going to be neck and neck throughout the rest of the season. The X-factor of this contention is who's relief pitching squad will step it up and win games. Right now the cubs have a stronger squad, but the brewers may have something up their sleeves. The second half of the season will be very dramatic with this NL Central race and the story of the Tampa Bay Rays shocking season. In the NL Central, I believe that it will only be the Cubs and Brewers fighting for the division crown. I think the Cardinals are not good enough and and just do not have the confidence that they can beat the Cubs and Brewers. I want to see the Cubs go into the playoffs winning the NL Central and the Brewers out of the Wild Card. They are both very talented teams with a lot of offensive power. When they play each other in the regular season and maybe in the playoffs, it is must see baseball.
