Arrrrrrrrrgh!

Lap 5 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. is being black-flagged because he passed before the start-finish line, he is making a pass-through penalty and will go at least one lap down.

Lap 84 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. is running lap times even with the leaders but his mistake on the start may have cost him the race. He's scored 38th with 31 cars on the lead lap as Michael Waltrip and Bobby Labonte go a lap down.

I think I'll watch the Olympics. Pfft.

Well this has to make you wonder

Um yeah, someone was caught cheating in the Nationwide Series, now you don't suppose that they would be so bold as to do the same thing in the Cup Series, would you? Hmmmm.

By the way, congrats to Carl Edwards for kicking Kyle Busch's butt today. Unfortunately, if you the readers are expecting me to say anything else regarding the Michigan race, please don't hold your breath. I'm miserable.

Can't sleep so I thought I'd blog

Nothing going on this weekend except for a little ol' bar called Whisky River is having their grand opening. And since I'm in New Jersey, I don't think I'll be attending the grand opening.

Budweiser Shootout Entry List

A total of 23 drivers are eligible for the 2008 Budweiser Shootout — which will be the record for the largest field in the history of the event (The previous high was 22 in 2002). There were 18 drivers who gained eligibility by winning a pole in 2007, while five others are eligible because they are past winners of the Budweiser Shootout (and finished in the top 50 in final series point standings). Four drivers will be competing in the event for the first time.
