Pujols Wins NL MVP

It was announced today that St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols is the 2008 NL MVP. This is the second time he has won the award. Pujols hit .357/.462/.653 with 37 HR, 116 RBI, 44 doubles, and 100 runs scored in 148 games for the Cards. He also played a gold-glove calibur first base.
