When I was first watching the TBS coverage of the playoffs this year - I only mildly disliked Dane Cook. He's been extremely funny before, and quite annoying as well. So, I really didn't hold much against the guy - other than getting the chance to mess around with Jessica Alba.

But after being subjected to day, after day, after day of "There's only one... OCTOBER!!!!" I can only come to one conclusion - Dane Cook must be assassinated, and soon.

Despite Coco Crisp and Julio Lugo's best efforts to kill every Boston rally, the Red Sox managed to grit out seven runs, four against starter CC Sabathia - knocking him out after 6 innings.

But the real story was Josh Beckett. After a somewhat shaky first inning, Beckett was able to get in the zone, and elevated his pitching to a completely different level. After that happened, the Cleveland hitters didn't have a chance.
