WIth the ever-growing popularity of MMA and emergence of rival organisations to the UFC the strength in depth in every weightclass in the MMA world has never been as strong.

I personally believe that the middleweight division is currently the most exciting weightclass in the sport today, and with the recent news that the UFC is going to pit "the spider" vs Dan Henderson, and rumours emerging from Strikeforce regarding the possibility of a Frank Shamrock vs Cung Le bout, the division has never looked so exciting!!

.

The major problem with the middleweights however is the fact that the UFC has nobody other than Hendo on their books who look like they can even challenge Anderson so if who's next??

.

I would love to see Dana White put his differences aside with Frank Shamrock (its old news) and also makes moves to sign Paulo Filho and Cung Le.

Another great fight involving the Middleweight SanSho prodigy....

Rashad Evans vs. Michael Bisping ----> I gotta go with my heart for this one and plump for Bisping (being english), but my head is tellin me Evans is the slight favorite, havin already made a step up in class to fight Tito and earn a dubious draw he has the big show experience and 'the count' is yet to face anyone of near that standard. Karo Parisyan vs. Ryo Chonan---> I expect Karo to walk away with his hand in the air after grinding out a decision against the tough Ryo Chonan, who holds a victory over no other than Anderson Silva. PARISYAN Decision

Houston Alexander vs. Thiago Silva---> What an exciting match up between two up and comin light heavys this promises to be, and a hard one to call. I am a huge fan of both fighters but feel if Houston fails to KO Thiago in the first round he will gas and his lack of ring time will catch up on him. So providing Thiago can weather the early storm I am going for Silva. SILVA R3 KO

Spencer Fisher vs. Frank Edgar--->Edgar is 6-0 and is getting his toughest test against the much more experienced Fisher. I think he passes the test and will finish this one early. EDGAR R1 SUBMISSION

Ed Herman vs. Joe Doerksen--->Despite the Canadians Doerksens huge wealth of experience I fully expect 'short fuse' to KO him in the second round either with a big punch or some g+p elbows. HERMAN R2 KO
