I know there has been alot of clamor about the Eagles needing to add another receiver to the team, especially so sine Cutis was injured. But let's face it, the regular season starts on thursday, and with each passing day the chances of us signing somebody is getting slimmer and slimmer. Even if they do, there will be only a small amount of time for them to learn the playbook, and it would be asking alot for instant chemistry with McNabb.
That said, I honestly feel we will be OK. Not because I think Reggie will step it up this season (although I do), or because I think Jackson could be a beast (I hope he is). No, I think our saving grace will come in the form of
Lorenzo Booker. I'm saying that because of what he'll allow us to do. He can go out wide and catch, and he can play RB and let Westbrook go out wide. Basically, I think he'll let us use our best receiver, no. 36, in a wide variety of ways we wouldn't be able to if he wasn't there to help shoulder the load. Thats my OPINION anyway.
