Last night was a heady night for those on The Crack Staff @ Perkisabeast.com. It was our annual holiday excursion to the TDBG, one the younger pups here at Perkisbeast.com were relishing an oppurtunity to participate in. Ladies and Gentlemen, Trust us, this night, we did not disappoint.

I met you at the bar last night, and we hit it off. Ya we were both a little buzzed, but you seemed as into me as I was into you. Things got to things, we made out a bit, and you ended up going home with me on the back of my motorcycle, which was awesome because that doesn't usually happen to me. I luckily had the extra helmet with me and let you wear my bike jacket while suffering the cold on the way home. I was feeling pretty happy and lucky to say the least.

This is where things got crazy.

Old friend Ira "eating his words as we speak" Winderman says Pat Riley is fed up with Antoine Walker's lack of conditioning. Apparently, our old friend showed up at camp at 263 pounds.

"It's beyond irritating," Riley said before his team faced Atlanta in an exhibition at AmericanAirlines Arena. "I'm beyond being irritated. I was irritated the first year when I signed him. I was really irritated last year. I'm beyond irritated. I don't have time to be irritated."

I guess he's irritated. But there's more, apparently Toine won't be ready until January in Riley's book.

"Antoine is a long ways away from making his conditioning goal," Riley said. "He'll probably make it by January, if he makes it. Probably. It'd probably take that long, because you can't lose five percent in a month, two weeks."

Our Sensei Kendrick and his lovely girlfriend Vanity have been blessed with a little baby boy….

"…Celtics center Kendrick Perkins' longtime girlfriend gave birth to Kendrick Perkins II on Monday. Born in Boston on Monday, the baby was 7 pounds, 9 ounces and 20 inches long…"

With my own son just two weeks old, I can offer a lot of advice to Perk, none of which will help him in the coming days when lack of sleep and total overwhelming emotion renders the brain incapable of anything other than smiling and crying. However, it is a lot of fun. Enjoy buddy.
