Boston v. Atlanta second half= Complete Joke

As the third quarter ended with the Boston Celtics winning 79-43 over the Atlanta Hawks, all I can say is that this is utter nonsense. Atlanta clearly is playing uninspired with exception to Zaza Pachulia who always plays physically. However, since Marvin Williams committed the flagrant foul on Ronda(which by the way did not warrant an ejection), the refs have given up calling a fair game. Each call since has gone in favor of the celtics, which in includes KG lowering his skeletor shoulder into Zazas jaw. To be completely fair to both sides, Zaza kinda deserved it for the shit he has been doing throughout the series. However, The refs absolutely collapsed under the pressure of that retarded and obnoxious Boston crowd. On a sidenote, Puchulia has nothing to lose besides being suspended a couple games next year, so I think he should have popped KG in the face so garnett would have attacked in return and been suspended for the second round series.

Aside from being frustrated for having to wait for the long anticipated iggles picks, I just wanna know if any of you eagles fans or anyone else who was watching the eagles draft coverage on their site for more than five minutes thought watching baldy and his phones blow up over and over again was hilarious like I did.

NFL players under more scrutiny than ever...yet this goes unnoticed.

The link I have attached describes a bit of the darker side of man. Question: How can one get away with beating their chick? Answer: become a professional athlete. while I don't agree with all the points the writer makes like having the team move some of their cash for these womans groups and whatnot, I do think that teams should be held more accountable for their players character and o boy will that come to fruition soon considering all the speculation roger goodell has been under with his big bad nfl leadership coming into question by the man.

Politics does not belong in sports

I urge all readers of this site to pay attention to the process and read up on the concept of the electoral college. First thing I'd like to say is that I'm not discouraging you from voting. If that makes you feel empowered then by all means do you. But, I will now say that too many people still don't get it. Votes, I would say used to mean something but now they mean less than ever from us, the people because it's the ones already in power who decide the winner. Athletes, just like music artists and actors do this. Stumping for politicians is something that should be left to politicians. When you undeservingly gather notoriety for a candidate and when the vast majority of the newly won supporters don't really know the issues, this shows a complete lack of responsibility on the part of the human billboard raising the attention. It is a joke to think that people will vote for someone because their favorite celebrity endorses them, but that is the real issue here. And, to use Greg Oden as an example, he did very little to convince me that it was ANYTHING BUT a single phone call that got him to support Barrack aside from the certain not so subtle shared attributes. I'm no racist and I certainly am not an advocate of the opposition of free speech for anyone who should choose to respond under either of those ideas. I am merely pointing out that Greg, as well as too many other people who are now famous for things that people who watch them can't do, has drawn a line in the sand of his political views as well as broadcasted it on the largest scale and it unfairly sways fans of these celebs. If you really want to back someone then learn the issues. If not all of the issues, then at the very least the ones that will affect you and people of your ilk i.e. your family, friends, community etc.. Do not make uninformed decisions if you don't have to. This is one case where we all have access to the answers to our questions via countless outlets so let us utilize them and make our own INFORMED decisions.

Stuck between a rock and my hatred for New England/boston fans

You are worse than any fans I have ever heard. I am from New York so I would have an idea about obnoxious fans. Now we all get to hear Pats fans what if this and that or we won 18 games. well you still lost the 19th. blow it out your ass New England.

Cowboys blow #1 seed

The cowboys did what many could have easily predicted by bowing out to the lowly giants in the first round. Many thought the downfall would be mostly Romo for his antics but what it turned out to be was the O-line reverting to old form. The giants were without both starting corners, their biggest offensive threat in jeremy shockey, a handful of other players, and the "Americas Team" couldn't close the deal. What a lame excuse for a second half effort. How bout them cowboys?

"Fan"tasy Versus Reality

Anyone on here ever get the feeling that all to often fanatics use the term "we" or even "our/my team". Let me pose a question to the sports fan nation: Do you really think that you have anything to do with your favorite team winning or losing a game? And, are you as quick to use the collective terms when "your" team loses a bad game or series for example the yanks losing to the to sox in the historic comeback sweep? I'm a yanks fan so I see it fitting to use a team near and dear to my heart to point out that I have no bias. I understand my role as the fan. The role of cheering and indulging in others success completely separate from mine own. I understand that when you root for something or someone that when they succeed, you can feel prideful for them. But please, don't sit there and even try to lay claim to having any part of a team or a players success when you more likely than not almost guaranteed 99.9% of the time will shut your completely worthless hole upon such beloved player/franchises failure.
