Zach and Justin Boren: Rivalry to a New Dimension

Recent developments for the Buckeyes hint to us of an interesting new twist to this historic rivalry. Justin Boren from outside of Columbus, Ohio played football for the Wolverines. Justin's father played for Michigan and Bo. Justin followed in his father's footsteps to Michigan. Justin's younger brother Zach will be playing his final year of high school ball this year. Zach Boren is a division 1 football prospect. Until recently Zach had not been offered a scholarship to play for the Buckeyes.

Ohio State OWNS Pennsylvania  

Ohio State continues to pluck top recruits outside of the state of Ohio after LB Dorian Bell (#1 SLB-Scout.com) and RB Jordan Hall (#18 RB-Scout.com) committed to the Buckeyes following the spring game. Both of these blue-chip athletes hail from Pennsylvania and both are continuing a trend of Jim Tressel dipping outside the Ohio borders. In addition, Maryland CB Darrell Givens (#9 CB-Scout.com) committed over the weekend giving Ohio State a total of 11 verbals for the 2009 Recruiting class.
