What Does Danny Ainge Have To Do To Get Fired?

Seriously, this is becoming quite absurd. After all the abysmal decisions Danny Ainge has already made in his now notorious tenure as GM of the Celtics, his actions from last evening baffle me even more than his questionable actions from the past.

Rich Eisen's Inbox

While sports fans might consider a move from ESPN to the NFL Network as a demotion, apparently that type of change of scenery doesn't bother the ladies, or at least Philadelphia tv reporter Alycia Lane. Lane, pictured above, seems to have a "thing" for Rich Eisen. So much of one that she recently e-mailed several provocative pictures of herself to Eisen. Also included in the e-mail, she stated that she would be in LA soon and would love to meet up with him. Unfortunately for her, or some might argue Eisen, Eisen's wife, Suzy Shuster, yes the ABC college football sideline reporter, shares the e-mail account with Eisen.

Cam Cameron Attempts To Defend Picking Ted Ginn

Video of Cam Cameron attempting to defend picking Ted Ginn #9 in this year's NFL draft. But the Dolphin fans will have none of it, as they boo away at him.

Vlade Is Crafty On and Off The Court

Flope Divac was the King of the Flop. He was an innovator when it came to taking phantom fouls. I wish there were some statistic that calculated flops per game because Vlade would barely edge out Raja Bell as the most prolific of all-time.

Anyways, Vlade is presently accused of doing an off-the-court flop of sorts, as he is being sued for allegedly selling counterfeit Gucci and Fendi products out of his L'Image Beauty Boutique, a store owned by Vlade and his wife, in Sacramento.

How Joe Buck Would Call Home Run #756

Check out this clip from the Dan Patrick Show. Joe Buck fictitiously calls Barry Bonds' Home Run #756.

A Former Hockey Cheerleader and Her Fondness For Sex

Well Madison Square Garden has quite the sexual harassment case on their hands, and this time Isiah Thomas is not involved! This particular incident involves Courtney Prince, an ex-New York Ranger cheerleader (also known as Rangers City Skaters), who is suing Madison Square Garden after claiming that she was fired from her job in 2004 after complaining that she was sexually harassed by a New York Rangers executive. According to her at least, this executive approached her at a West Village bar and tried to convince her to join him in a 3-some. It looks like this unnamed executive failed in his attempt.

However the story doesn't end there, today Madison Square Garden attorneys made a desperate effort to prevent the case from going to trial, insisting that the former Rangers City Skater was actually fired because of her very very very strong enthusiasm towards sex and the fact that this obsession perturbed most of her co-employees.

The Vikings Are Playing Catch-up To The Bengals

New owner, new philosophy, new rules, not so new behavior. And now for some not so shocking news...an NFL player was arrested, but it wasn't Pacman Jones or a member of the Cincinnati Bengals.

" Minnesota Vikings cornerback Cedric Griffin was freed on $50 bail after being arrested early Sunday in downtown Minneapolis and charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct, authorities said."

Misdemeanor disorderly conduct. What a vague term. Now to what Griffin really did...

Two witnesses told KSTP-TV that the Vikings cornerback was thrown out of the Spin nightclub for not pulling up his pants. The club has a dress code requiring that pants not sag below the waist.

A class act indeed. Griffin should just be thankful that football, not basketball, is his sport...I have a feeling he would have a problem with Commish Stern and his NBA dress-code he enforces all season long.

Are Tony Romo and Carrie Underwood Getting Married?

After things apparently didn't work out or even get started with Romo and Jessica Simpson, according to Star Magazine, a gossip magazine (WE CAN'T EMPHASIZE THIS ENOUGH) Romo and Underwood are getting married.

Mitigating The Real Barry Bonds Effect

Yesterday was a historic day in high school athletics as the Texas Senate approved a student drug-testing program which includes randomly testing thousands of Texas high school athletes for steroids.

Someone Turn The Mic Off On Him

The Baltimore Orioles Are Acting Like Fascists

Maybe if the Orioles' front office stopped acting like fascists, by denying press credentials to local media members who are critical of the franchise, and instead figured out how to win ball games, not only would the critics go away but more fans would start showing up as well.

As Fast As Tecmo Bo?

Devin Hester became the first person ever to receive a 100 score in any single category in Madden Football history. A 100 in Speed!

A Judge Ruins A Great Bet

A man loses a Super Bowl bet but won't be allowed to change his name to Peyton Manning.

Kobe's Excessive Scoring Not Good For the Lakers

Yes, Kobe's historic scoring as of late (4 in a row with 50+ points) is damn impressive. But I think this amazing feat actually has a negative impact on the Lakers. Kobe trying to score as many as he can will not work against the elite teams in the West. And who cares about moderate regular season success if that doesn't translate into any playoff success?

Petitioning For More Gus Johnson

Dear CBS,

We are greatly infuriated that you have replaced the venerable Gus Johnson with James "big name" Brown as one of your four play-by-play men in your Sweet 16 and Elite 8 coverage of the NCAA Tournament. We are perturbed by the fact that you have "sold out", choosing to replace the best announcer in college basketball, who also happens to have eleven years of experience calling NCAA tourney games, for James Brown, a man whose resume before this NCAA tournament includes calling one single college basketball game in the past 13 years.

Not only is Brown lacking in college basketball experience, but when it comes to ability to excite viewers, Brown is completely outmatched and outclassed by Johnson. While Brown's calls are insipid and mediocre, Johnson's are memorable (see Ohio State-Xavier this year & Gonzaga-UCLA last year).

In conclusion, we respectfully request that next year you revert to your past actions, which include assigning your most talented, not your most paid, to call your Sweet 16 and Elite 8 games. Or if that can't be arranged, perhaps you could drop Jim Nantz into the Hudson with some cement sneakers? Or maybe we could check Billy Packer into an old age home? Seriously though, without Gus Johnson, the regional semi-finals and finals just aren't quite the same.

Sincerely,

Disgruntled Gus Johnson Fans
