The Golden State Warriors have signed former Laker Ronny Turiaf to a 4 year- 17 million dollar contract. Turiaf was a restricted free agent and had signed an offer sheet 7-days ago. The Lakers had those 7 days to match the offer, but no luck. The deal has officially been finalized Ronny has averaged 5.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.13 blocks and 15.6 minutes in 173 regular-season games with the Lakers in his 3 years in the NBA, and hopfully he will make an impact on the Warriors. Turiaf will be wearing number 21!!! Good luck Ronny!

After hearing that former Packers QB wanted a release from the team, i could only think of one thing. Maybe the Lions should go after him? Its the same divison as the Packers, the fans would accept him, and maybe he would even lead the Lions to the playoffs for the first time in about....well.... a while. John Kitna could become our backup. All I want is for Matt Millen to make one of the best pick-ups in lions history other than Barry Sanders. Go Lions for the 08-09 season. LOL

The article that is written in the Sun Sentinel proves a point. The Miami Heat have too many players in the middle of the rotation. With Dwyane Wade, Shawn Marion, Udonis Haslem, Michael Beasley, Dorell Wright, Daequan Cook, and recently signed James Jones one of them has to be on the move. The Heat cannot afford to have so many players at one position and so little at center and point guard. Maybe a really big trade will happen, who knows??? But with Beasley in, one of them has to go. Who do you think should be traded and what would they get in return?

If you had the opportunity to add one new NBA team, where would it be, what would they be called, and what would the colors be?

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that fromer Clipper Corey Maggette has agreed to a contract with the Golden State Warriors which is a five-year deal worth about $50 million. Maggette opted out of his contract last week. So now the Clippers lose Brand and Maggette, but add Baron Davis to the roster. Maggette was given many oppertunites to play with teams such as the Orlando Magic, Boston Celtics, Detroit Pistons, ect. Also, some teams had offered him a contract at with a Mid-Level Exception worth about 5 mill. So now with Maggette in the Bay Area, Brand in Philly, Who do the clippers get for their 3 and 4 spot? Since the Sixers have signed Brand, can the Clippers make an offer to foward Josh Smith?

The New York Post says that Ex-New Jersey Net Richard Jefferson is unhappy about the trade on draft day that sent him to the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for Yi Jianlian and Bobby Simmons. New Jersey Nets president Rod Thorn has not spoken to Jefferson yet, but said "He didn't seem very happy," "I spoke to his agent, I called him, texted him. I like Richard. He was here for a long time and I'm sure he still expected to be here. Unless you are the one pushing for it, it's always difficult when you are traded. You are going to a new place, have new teammates. It's hard at first". It looks to me like the Nets are making cap room for King James????

According to the Contra Costa Times, a Bay Area newspaper, the Pistons are talking to the Warriors about a trade including Billups and Davis. Baron stated that he wanted to stay in the Bay Area, but from dissapointing offersto his contract....it could happen. It is said that Detroit is willing to trade Billups and Wallace after what happended in the Eastern Conference Finals .Rasheed and Baron are both unrestricted free agents in the 08-09 season. The trade would send Billups and Sheed to the Bay Area and the Pistons would aquire Baron Davis and Al Harrington. Rasheed would fit the Warriors offensive presence with shooting the 3-ball, but will see what happens!!!!!
