You got it like that.

Have A Ball At The Angola Prison Rodeo

In this case, "Angola" isn't the impoverished country in southern Africa, but the nickname of the largest Louisiana state penitentiary. Angola holds over 5,000 inmates, and when you have that many people and 18,000 acres to work with, well, imaginations run wild. So, as REAL SPORTS on HBO reports, they hold a rodeo every year (seriously), with animals and everything. All the proceeds go to prison programs, so that's pretty cool. There are, however, some drawbacks, and brave readers will click through the jump to ruin their lunches.

Bob Knight Might Or Might Not Coach Again Or Whatever

Well, Bob Knight is back. Not BACK back, of course, but giving interviews is a start, right? In an interview airing tonight on Indianapolis' WFYI, Knight talked with an old friend of his for an hour in front of 500 fans. We're assuming they're fans, since the event was taped a month ago and we never heard anything about protestors or projectile tomatoes or anything. Anyway, while the interviewer thought broaching the topic of post-Knight Indiana basketball "wouldn't have been fair," there was a lot of reminiscinga€"and a bit of talk about the future, too...

'The Express' Invents Racist-Filled Game at West Virginia

It's hardly news, of course that a movie that's "based on a true story" would fudge some facts, much less a historical sports movie (Sure, the Titans won a playoff game on a last-second, 80-yard reverse. Sure they did). And hey, why not, right? If we already know that the protagonist will succeed, why not have him do so in the face of as much adversity as our sick minds can imagine?

HS Football Players Getting LARRRRGER

The BOSTON GLOBE has the wholly predictable but still depressing story detailing how America's growing class of violently obese teenagers is turning to the one sport that makes jerseys in 5XL: football. Sure, everyone's getting fatter, but it's not like some 5'9", 280 pound kid is going to run cross country. Well, he technically could. And it would technically be hilarious.
