Tim Cowlishaw, a respected sports jounalist for the Dallas Morning News, sheds a light on why Bill Belichick should be considered THE greatest coach of all time. I am not a die-hard Pats fan, but I did find the article interesting and hope everyone else does, too. Happy Reading.

Well, so much for Gregg Williams being in the running for head coach. Not sure what the reasoning is behind this one, but someone else is going to end up with either a good defensive coordinator or head coach. He might want to get out of there anyway with Washington being behind the 8-ball in cap money. It's getting interesting down there in the nation's capital. What is going through Big Dan's mind now???

Good article on each NFL team's draft class and how each team ranked in April and again after the regular season. A few surprises, but most of the bad teams had the best results since rookies have a better chance to make those teams. Green Bay may have been the biggest surprise of all. They now have the youngest team in the NFL.

Ernie Holmes, a member of the feared Pittsburgh "Steel Curtain" of the 1970's, has died in a car wreck in East Texas. With "Mean" Joe Greene, L.C. Greenwood, and Dwight White, this was one of the best defensive lines every assembled in NFL history. Three of these guys, White, Greene, and Holmes, played their college ball down here in Texas.

Looks like the roster for the Dallas Cowboys will need a little tweaking in the secondary. Other than that, the offensive and defensive rosters look pretty good for 2007-2008. With the exception of Roy Williams in the secondary, this team is pretty solid from top to bottom. The two first-round draft choice should add more depth to an already young and deep team.

All Romo haters need to see the side of Romo other than the ones you portray in your daily hater rants on here. You only have one thing to bring up anyway. The fumble in Seattle. I think he has atoned for that quite well, thank you. He recovered with a 13-3 year and the number 1 seed in the NFC playoffs. How many other NFC teams can make that claim? Zero

Well, the beast of the east got introduced to some basketball Western Conference style this evening and couldn't hang. Mavs hit them with a barrage of three pointers and everything else under the sun. Maybe they were a little weary after having their asses handed to them at home a couple of nights ago by the Celts. Mavs are starting to get in sync a little with the new players they acquired in the offseason. Bass had a monster dunk that brought the house down and Dirk was fairly hot all night.

OK, Dallas haters. Now, you can get on here and bash us some more. Home field throughout the playoffs. A team that was supposed to finish behind N.Y. , Philly, and Washington in the NFC East has a first round bye. Let the games begin. LMAO.....

Well, you can throw the rest of those Jessica Masks in the trash. Didn't have much of an affect at last night's game in Carolina. Just saw a handful of them. Bad idea and now you can put it to bed and find something else to harrass Romo about.

Damn........sure is quiet up that way this week!!! Did you all lose your voices in October during that 38-17 beat down??? Couldn't get enough of the ole Cowboys then, huh? Amazing what an old-fashioned "take me out behind the barn" whipping will do. Are you ready for another one?

Here I sit watching the news in Dallas and a poor guy who has been a Cowboy fan for 20 years. They are going to charge him $50,000 a seat for his seat licenses and then he still has to pay for his tickets. He currently has four seats, so they want $19,000 for a down payment and the rest to be financed. The finance charges alone would amount to approximately $13,000 per year for 30 years and that doesn't include the price of tickets. I am in the same boat except my seats are in the end zone area and I have heard mine will be at least $15,000 a seat. I have four. Guess I'll be sitting at home and watching them on the tube with my friend mentioned above. What a rip!!! All they are going to have is white-shirted corporate types and don't give a crap about who's playing.

Dennis Franchione resigned an hour after the TX A&M victory over the Longhorns. Of course, this was much expected, but the big question is...who is going to be the new head coach? Tubberville? Tedford? It is going to be interesting to see who gets this one.

Well, Sam Madison shot off his mouth up there in GiantsLand and got his butt toasted by T.O. Sweet. I love when trash talkers like him get their butts toasted. See ya in the playoffs, Sammy.
