Maybe Arkansas Football is looking for a new identity. This year we will have new coaches, new stars and new uniforms. The new jeresey introduced at media days on Tuesday are basically Kentucky's uniform from last year. It's a cross between Oregon and Louisville, all schools still searching for their place at the BCS football table, with possibly the exception of Louisville. But at the time Louisville sported this new look, they were nobody special in the College Football.
Yes I am older than most and still long for the days of the Cardinal and White uniform with the 2 thin red stripes down the pants. Tradition has become an ugly word these days. New colors, new logos, new everything. Some things I don't mind so much but radical changes are usually done by desparate people. I wasn't aware we were in that much trouble. I thought we were usually in the conversation when it came to great athletic programs. We have a winning tradition that I personally don't think needs to be embelished with fake uniforms.
