Perhaps you saw the video of Sarah Palin jogging in a Donovan McNabb Philadelphia Eagles jersey. However, she is also on record for being both a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and a member of the Seattle Seahawks fan club. So what NFL team does Palin support? Having two or three favorite teams is unacceptable and certainly not something I or most if not all Americans want to see in a potential President or Vice President.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have created "The Penguins Hockey 'n Heels Ladies Club" and is offering an exclusive membership for the 2008-2009 season. The Exclusive Club Membership Price is only $1225.00! However you feel about the club the name is much better than the Baltimore Ravens' club for women: Purple.

If you watched the opening ceremonies ot the Olympics, you may have noticed Ric Blas Jr. who represented Guam in judo and served as Guam's flag-bearer. Bob Costas also said that Blas may be the heaviest Olympian of all time. Through the power of the internet, I was able to track Ric down and ask him a few questions about the Olympics, Guam and how he always seems to be surrounded by attractive women.

According to Bob Costas during the opening ceremonies Ric Blas Jr., the flag-bearer for Guam, may be the heaviest athlete in Olympics history. Ric also has a MySpace page, which includes many pictures of Ric in action (judo and otherwise).

I am heading to New Jersey this weekend for my annual fantasy baseball draft and a night in Atlantic City. I am also attending the New Jersey Devils- Philadelphia Flyers hockey game and am in a bit of a quandary in that I don't know who to support as a Pittsburgh Penguins fan.

Therefore, I asked some of the biggest hockey and Pittsburgh Penguins fans I know for their opinions.

Since the Pittsburgh Steelers will face the Washington Redskins at FedEx Field during the 2008 NFL season, I thought I would contact the Redskins to see if there were any group ticket sales. The team has a deal which includes all you can eat; all you can drink and pregame field passes. All of this for just $800! Oh wait, the group deal is $800 per person or a grand total of $20000. I'll pass.

The sports memorabilia industry is a big business. This weekend, the Collectors' Showcase of America show in Chantilly, Virginia includes Terry Bradshaw, Joe Greene, Jack Ham, Rocky Bleier, Ralph Kiner, Terry Hanratty, Donnie Shell, Andy Russell, Antwaan Randle El, Dave Parker, Mark May, & Hines Ward. I did mention that this show takes place in the Washington DC area and not Western Pennsylvania, right?
