In America, unfortunately all of the sports pride is divided amongst big football hits and big basketball dunks. This leaves little to no enthousiasm of any kind to the sport of Soccer. Elsewhere, in other parts of the world, this is not the case. In a close game, the Tottenham ball-boy even shows pride for his home team.

He does not know what his disciplinary action will entail but he demands personal responsibility and accountability from his players on and off the court.

But are these revenue-creating monster arenas going to suffice as adequate replacements for the old barns? Who knows, but millions of dollars are being poured into the construction of these new home courts but I don't think they are going to transcend the same basketball "feel" that the old courts did.
Roy Williams has been the closest thing to an adequate replacement of the former Tar Heels' Dean Smith. Although his induction took place months ago, the excitement and reality of the occasion is just beginning to settle into place as he is currently in production of his acceptance speech.
After further investigation, Bethlehem Shoals emailed Oxy's head coach in an attempt to find out whether Obama did in fact play NCAA basketball. After a heroic round of 63 on Friday, will Tiger Woods have what it takes to take home his first major this year? He was just one shot short have history but his confidence and momentum have already carried over onto todays round. I think he will roll to victory.
Even though this may not be too interesting for some of you, I think the return of Lindsay Davenport to the game of tennis is monumental. Her return will spark interest in tennis for all who have watched and followed this great talent in the past. I'm not sure if she ever technically announced her retirement, but she is back and I will be watching.
Joe DiMaggio may have started the trend of athletes hooking up with celebrities when he hooked up with and married Marilyn Monroe in 1954. Today, the trend is still alive as the two types of entertainers continue to entertain the public with their scandals, unusual behavior and extravagant weddings.
