Honestly, as a goalie, how do you not stop this shot? It's the longest goal in NHL history (estimated to have been taken from between 178-190 feet away from the net). Fortunately the Maple Leags still won the game. Video here. More details at Deadspin.
Roger Clemens. Barack Obama. Shaq Diesel. Bill Gates. Chuck Swirsky (Raptors play-by-play guy). Even Hillary Clinton. Photoshop gallery from a Toronto Raptors fan.
Former Patriots employee Matt Walsh has additional copies of Spygate tapes, "including one of the St. Louis Rams' walkthrough prior to Super Bowl XXXVI in 2002." If true, go ahead and put an asterisk on all three of New England's Super Bowl "wins" -- the legacy would be unquestionably tainted.
The tapes haven't been turned over to the NFL because Walsh is not satisfied with the legal protection that he's been offered. He wants to be able to keep a copy of the tapes for himself so that he can defend himself against future allegations and charges. Basically so that he can prove to people that he's not lying. Sounds like a reasonable request considering NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell's track record for destroying evidence unnecessarily.
The link below offers more details on the legal stalemate between Walsh's lawyers and the NFL, and the 60-second video below pokes fun at Bill Belicheat & Co.
This mock draft has superhero Sedrick Ellis dropping all the way to #9 (Bengals). Defensive end Chris Long is #1 overall and Boston College's Matt Ryan is the first QB taken. Dissect and enjoy.
Thousands of idiot Patriots fans are petitioning the league in the wake of Belicheat & Brady choke-choke-choking away a chance at 19-0. Somehow they feel cheated by the refs. Patriots fans complaining about cheating? Talk about irony.
The petition demands an investigation of the final 1:40 of Super Bowl XLII. "This, Pats fans, is why America hates you. You lost. Just accept it."
