FanIQ is conducting a science experiment to find the real sports experts. Every week, FanIQ enters the "expert" picks published on the major sites. We also let the average fan enter their predictions.

FanIQ tracks the results and reveals the"real experts" on Mondays. In order to properly grade the experts, we evaluate in two categories - picking straight up winners and versus the spread.

The FanIQ Consensus (62-37) had a rough week 7 but maintained a lead over the expert average by a 63% to 62% margin. ESPN's Mike Golic (68-32, pictured) continues to lead all experts proving former players know their stuff.

It's true we usually equate clutch with David Ortiz and Mariano Rivera, those that put a finishing stamp on games. But what about starting pitchers? Can't we call them clutch and is it too far fetched to label Glavine the most clutch ever?

I still believe that's a crazy notion, but the Slate takes a stab at defending Glavine. Statistics don't always tell the full story - I'd much prefer Roger, Nolan, Curt and Randy is his prime over Tom.
